+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1279110 +++

I'd like our Nightly theme to look more modern, currently it uses the old One Mozilla theme with the old logo.

I'd like it to be more focus on the text itself, less on the metadata (calendar, archives, tags...), maybe creating a child theme of https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/06/20/firefox-focus-new-to-android-blocks-annoying-ads-and-protects-your-privacy/ would work

Kohei, we can discuss about it at the all hands :)

Here's a screenshot taken locally. Just enabled the Frontierline theme [1] used on the main blog [2], changed the cover image, and set a featured image on each post. Still have to customize the theme to add some links:

* Nightly download link
* Twitter link

What else?

Also add the wiki https://wiki.mozilla.org/Nightly

These links should replace the ones that are in the header

How about using https://framapic.org/8kbUEymms9Ta/x8mUo5N9FjYZ.png or https://framapic.org/EUKgM5RQmbal/ZQdU3QDUqgWt.png as the illustration image? I'd like to convey a more positive and dynamic image than the usual dark sky we use.

Replaced the earth cover image with the "splendid" robot. Looks better?

Looks great :)
And one more thing: do we have any short tagline for Nightly? It can be displayed at the bottom of each post [1] where the Firefox Frontier blog says "Browse fast. Browse free." The download button will point the channel page, of course.

let's use this:
Bleeding edge browsing

Replaced the header links with Twitter, Wiki and the download button. Set the "Bleeding edge browsing" tagline.

LGTM,thanks
Hi Craig, can you please install the new Nightly Frontierline theme and enable it for the Nightly blog? https://github.com/kyoshino/frontierline-theme/archive/nightly.zip

I've uploaded and activated the new theme, you just need to add the header image (and configure any other options you want).
