Although I generally hate the SourceForge bug tracker, there is one feature that might be nice to have in bugzilla: canned responses. This allows the owner of a product/component to set up a list of common responses to bug reports (such as "try a newer version", "this is covered in the FAQ", etc). This can be quite useful for some projects. For bugzilla, it would probably be nice to have a drop down near the comments box, and when you select an item have some javascript paste the comment in. The canned responses should be associated with (product,component) pairs, so that the list can be specialised for the component.
