STR:
1.) On an iOS device, visit https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/focus/
2.) Click on the "Get on Google Play" button (url: https://app.adjust.com/b8s7qo?campaign=moz.org&adgroup=Focus&creative=android&fallback=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google.com%2Fstore%2Fapps%2Fdetails%3Fid%3Dorg.mozilla.focus)
Expected results:
The app.adjust link should load the Google Play Store so that I can read about the Firefox Focus Android app.
Actual results:
The app.adjust link redirects me to the iOS Focus app URL.
I'm not sure if this is somehow intended behavior, but it feels confusing and like a bug to me. I may have multiple devices for example, and wish to read more about both apps from my desktop computer.

Alex,
This behavior is intended - when the website is access from a mobile phone, all download links will take the user to the app store based on the device they are on because these are download links. There's no way for a user to download an android app on the iOS device.
If there's a way to only show the Android or iOS badge matched with the users device then this will be a better user experience.

I wasn't really talking about an iOS user downloading an Android app (I am aware this is not possible, but that wasn't really the point I was making). I just wanted to read more about the Android version while browsing on my Apple tablet :/
The Google Play store web URLs can be accessed on any device or platform if I navigate directly to the link, just not through app.adjust it seems.

Hmm, this sounds like a bit of an anti-pattern to me - i think there's likely benefit in showing both badges, as it makes it clear that Focus is available on both platforms.

The way adjust links work is to take users to the app store page based on the device they are on. Adjust links wont be able to redirect a user to another platforms download page.

Ok, it sounds like this is an issue that can't be fixed as long as we're using app.adjust links on the page - but I'll leave this bug open.
