From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020416
BuildID: 2002041618
During the install process, if there is an existing folder named "Mozilla" on
the Desktop, the installer will overwrite it (and its contents) with the Mozilla
alias (shortcut).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a folder on the Desktop named "Mozilla"
2. Install Mozilla
3. Watch your newly created folder be obliterated without warning by the
application alias.
Actual Results: User's existing data was wiped out.
Expected Results: The alias should rename itself to "Mozilla alias" or similar
and leave existing data well alone.
Haven't tried this, but what would happen if the user tried to install the
Mozilla application folder to the Desktop? Would it too be destroyed by the
application alias?
