Details

In the <INPUT TYPE=PASSWORD> field, IME is enabled and can type Japanese characters now. IME should be disabled.

Steps of reproduce
1. Go to above URL
2. Go to the first field "パスワードを入力してください:"
3. Turn on the IME and type Japanese characters.
In the field, the Japanese characters you typed in step #3 is displayed.

Expected result
IME is disabled and whatever you type in the filed, it is displayed as *******.

When you type ASCII characters in the filed, it is displayed as ******.
Tested 9-13 Win32 build.

Tague, why is this marked M15? It's a sensitive issue to reveal the password...
Is it because not many passwords will be in Japanese? Anyway, what were your
reasons?
My reason for moving this was that I felt this was something which could be
postponed until after beta. I would prefer not to postpone it, but
realistically I doubt that all of my pre-beta bugs are going to get fixed in
time. I have 31 bugs right now that need to be fixed before beta, I am
estimating that another 10 bugs will come in when gfx text widgets are enabled
on the Mac.

My feeling right now is that this bug has a very simple work around (turn off
the IME while typing a password), which is not true of alot of the other bugs.
If people thing that this is the wrong priority, suggest some bugs that could
get moved around. We can talk about this in staff and make a decision.
You know your priorities better than I do; we should make sure that we document
this workaround in the release notes. Thanks!

momoi-san can you please make sure this bug and work around gets documented in
the i18n release notes
A workaround has been noted in the M10 release notes.
Note that the IME must be turned off (i.e. direct input mode).
Half-width English alphanumeric mode -- though it works in
other input fields just like the direct input mode -- is
not effective in this case and instead reveals the input.
