Firefox 57 requires all extensions be based on the WebExtensions platform. Please see https://adblockplus.org/blog/the-plan-towards-offering-adblock-plus-for-firefox-as-a-web-extension - we will release a compatible version later, in order to ensure that the users don't perceive the update as a huge downgrade. For now, I recommend using a stable Firefox version.
