1386174 - optgroup label ignores background-color in DevFox only

Steps to reproduce:

setting css property `background-color´ (some shade of blue) to proper placed OPTGROUP element.



Actual results:

Developer tools show up that the defined background-color is the used color, but the color is only correct in Firefox 54.0.1 (64-Bit).
DevFox 55.0b13 (64-bit) uses some light-grey background-color! Unfortunately with (my?) white foreground color.
This is not specific to the version numbers above, since it is reproducible with earlier version though.


Expected results:

DevFox should provide identical output as Firefox does!!? Don't they render the same!?

likely a duplicate of bug 1388682. If so, should be fixed in Fx 55.0.2

This is not solved yet - please reopen and fix this.

Firefox 77.0.1 still ignores background-color for optgroup.

In dark modes this is even more annoying since for dark mode I have defined dark background colors - and that does not work with Firefox, only with Chromium based browsers.

Please file a new bug for that, with an screenshot if possible. This bug was closed 3 years ago and it's probably not the same root cause as this.
