"Search Or Enter Address" text in a new tab's address bar stays and overlaps with a newly opened bookmarked website's URL.

Steps to reproduce:
Click + to open a blank tab. The address bar says "Search or enter address". Click on a bookmarked website. The "Search or enter address" text is supposed to be removed, but it isn't. It overlaps with the newly opened websites URL. This doesn't happen when I populate the address bar manually or by autocomplete.
If I have 3 existing BugZilla tabs, and I open a new tab and click on a bookmarked BugZilla page, all old 3 BugZilla tabs will have the problem too.
The problem goes away when I click + to open a new blank tab.
