Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on the location bar
2. Select the text on the location bar
3. Delete that text
4. Enter your URL
5. Press return
6. File a bug when it doesn't work

Actual Results:  the page didn't load

Expected Results:  that the page would load

this is a new trunk build, it has worked on all previous builds.
