Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170612122310 Steps to reproduce: In Firefox on Android, navigated to download page for a WebExtensions add-on. Page loads, and offers a slider button to install the add-on. Tried to slide slider button. Firefox 54.0.1, Android 4.1.2. Cat B15 phone. Actual results: Slider button will not slide. Unable to install add-on. Slider button looks grey, and may be greyed-out/inactive, but not sure what it's supposed to look like. Fails for (at least) AdBlock Plus and my own Ad Limiter Webextension. Requesting the desktop page brings up a web page with an "install" button. That works fine. Reported by others: https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/cannot-move-slider-to-activate-add-on/17519 Expected results: Slider button should slide and install add-on.
Note: no other add-ons loaded other than the preloaded H264 codec.
It turns out that if you tap the slider, it operates. Sliding it is ineffective. It's bad web widget design. The fact that it generated two discussions on Discourse and much puzzlement indicates it's a UI bug.
This is isn't Firefox's doing, but rather addons.mozilla.org. They're doing their issue tracking on Github, so please report this here: https://github.com/mozilla/addons/issues
