Steps to reproduce

0. Open MailNews
1. select one of your BUG-report-messages in the inbox-thread-pane
   (POP3) with left mouseclick
   => contents of the mail is shown in the contents pane
    
2. right mouseclick to the selected BUG-report-message in the inbox-thread-pane
   => menue "open message in a new window" //  "reply to sender only" // ...
      appears
3. select "open message in a new window"
   => Message will be opened in a new window
4. right mouseclick on BUG- URL
   => selection menue opens
5. select "Open Link in a new window"
   !! nothing happens
      expected result: URL should be opened in a new browser window

meaning of signs:
=> result or reaction as expected
!! unexpected result or reaction
-- noticed result or reaction


Additional information:
"Open link with left mouseclick" for (5.) works without problem
I did not yet test weather this Problems exists in other mozilla versions
