User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/59.0.3071.115 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce: 1. Close all browser windows and restart Firefox 2. Open http://www.example.com/ 3. Install the attached extension Actual results: After installation, the browser runs the content script for example.com, but the background page never receives any message because it hasn't beed loaded yet Expected results: I'm not sure, but it makes sense to me that the background page be loaded before any content scripts are run
