From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020417 BuildID: 2002041711 Although Mail shows my various mail accounts I cannot highlight them or view them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start Mozilla Mail 2.Attempt to select any folder. 3. Actual Results: nothing, absolutely nothing Expected Results: Selected a specific folder and shown messages within that folder.
this is an installer Problem and I spoke already with the installer folks about this. Please do this : uninstall Mozilla, delete all files that the uninstaller had not deleted (but save your plugins folder) and reinstall RC1. That should fix your problem.

I just experienced (confirmed) and fixed this bug myself using your recommended prodecure... Seems pretty serious but I didnt notice it mentioned on the release notes for RC1 (where I think it started happening?) Bummer we had to change the themes again :(
