We have some telemetry around ghost windows, but ghost windows are only content windows. It would be nice if we could track how many leaking chrome windows we have, and figure out if they are common enough to need more focused effort. The end of XUL addons likely will fix many of these, but this kind of leak is easy to trigger in our own front end code, so I think this will still have some value.
