User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170628075643 Steps to reproduce: In Windows 7, while using the Windows Classic theme, right click in the bookmarks toolbar and repeatedly create new separators in the same place. You will notice that none of them appear after clicking 'New Separator'. Now, with Firefox still open, switch to Windows 7 Basic or an Aero theme and notice how the separators appear. Actual results: Separators did not appear in bookmarks toolbar. Expected results: Separators should have appeared in bookmarks toolbar.

It is also worth mentioning that this only happens inside the toolbar (for vertical separators), and not for separators that are inside bookmark folders (i.e. horizontal separators). The separators inside folders appear just fine under the classic theme.

It would be useful to know if you can reproduce this in Firefox 57 (via http://nightly.mozilla.org/) -- we just did a major UI overhaul, and may very well have fixed this accidentally.

I just tried it on 57.0a1 (2017-09-16) and unfortunately the issue is still present. Separators are not shown until you switch to Windows 7 Basic or an Aero theme. Separators are also not shown when using the accessibility themes (High Contrast).

Regressed by bug 1343196. Reproducible in 66.0a1 (2018-12-29) using Windows 7 Classic theme.
