User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
Build ID: 20170811223741
Steps to reproduce:
type several words in bugzilla search widget
press ^a or ^e
Actual results:
^a performs a "select all"
^e does nothing I can see
Expected results:
^a should move cursor to start of text, ^e to end
Other information that the form didn't ask for but may be relevant:
* I am using xfce4 (not gnome)
* I have a file .config/gtk-3.0/settings.ini containing (i.a.) the following lines
[Settings]
gtk-key-theme-name = Emacs
* I have used xfce4-settings-editor to set the Gtk/KeyThemeName property:
$ xfconf-query -c xsettings -p /Gtk/KeyThemeName
Emacs
* I don't have gsettings installed
* I deleted my firefox profile directory and tried this with a clean one: still doesn't work
* It was working perfectly OK in release 53
