Details

(Whiteboard: [platform-rel-Google][platform-rel-Gmail])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170628075643 Steps to reproduce: Unfortunately, I'm unable to grap a definite list of steps to reproduce the error. It sometimes happens, that when I have an email with multiple to-and-forth replies, and I try to reply to it, i can write the mail, but on sending or saving, Firefox says: "Error Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not saved/sent. (#007)" Not even after waiting for half an hour. If I open Opera, and try to reply from that, it sends the mail at once. Might be some sort of JavaScript bug? Actual results: Got the below error message, and email was not sent/saved: "Error Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not saved/sent. (#007)" Expected results: My mail should have been sent/saved.
Seems similar to Bug 648478
Have you asked Google for help?
No. Not sure if I would understand their answer.
I've also been experiencing this lately.
Given the reporter is using Firefox 54, it's probably not a recent regression but rather a site issue. Moving to Tech Evang so someone can contact Google for confirmation.
