Nils, did you hear anything about this issue since your last message? If not we can ask St Peter to possibly bring up at the next meeting with FB.

As far as I'm aware FB is still running on so called Plan-B, which is the old Chrome way of signaling in WebRTC. Now with Chrome offering support for Unified Plan my guess is that some time FB should switch over as well. But I have no idea when that would happen. So yes it might be good to discuss this with FB.

I've asked one of our Facebook contacts about this and will report back.

Any update on this? Many of my friends and family have to use Chrome this week to do group calls…

We have the right FB contact at this point, haven't heard back yet and followed up yesterday.

Facebook just released a new product, called Rooms, and it also doesn't work with Firefox (see bug 1634011).

Does this need to move to webcompat? This will never work until Facebook stops using API that was never standardized.

Sure, we can move the bug (though I'm not sure that will result in FB rewriting their RTC stack any sooner. :P)

Just noticed that it's now working with Firefox 91.0 64 bits on Windows 10.
Seems like Facebook fixed it.
