When you login and go to a chat area the Java chat Applet will not load on the
page and instead it displays a white placeholder instead of the applet. The java
applet should load and you should be able to chat becasue it works correctly
through Apple Applet Runner.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.wwbchat.com
2. Register or Login
3. Choose a chat room.
4. When page loads the applet is not loaded, but instead a white placeholder is
present.
Actual Results: A white placeholder covers the applet.
Expected Results: The Applet should have displayed and been functional.
The chat systems implemented is WebCrossing's Java Chat Applet. For more
information visit http://www.webcrossing.comw

Reporter,
Have you actually installed the Java plugin for Mozilla on MacOS X. Please note
that it is not (yet) included by default. You can download it from:
http://homepage.mac.com/pcbeard/MRJPlugin/.
If you haven't installed it then this bug is invalid, please post a comment to
that effect so that the bug can be resolved.
A demo version of WebCrossing's chat applet is available without registering at
[http://chat.webcrossing.com/].
Their chat applet doesn't appear to work with any OS X browser, so it's probably
not a Mozilla bug. Test also failed using OmniWeb 4.1b5 and IE 5.1.4 (4415.2).
For the moment, confirming that the applet doesn't function using
FizzillaCFM/2002041712 (RC1)
Reassigning to OJI.

Using the latest trunk build (2002-10-11-08) under 10.2.1, I'm able to load and
interact with the wwb chat applet.
