While experiencing and playing with bug 1391186 I saw a feature in Opera/Chrome for macOS which IMO was very helpful and maybe worth adding to Firefox: For some reason TB, lost its setting to be the default email client (as described in bug 1391186). After that has happened and there was no default email client set on my system anymore, I got no response at all from Firefox when clicking any `mailto:` link. Clicking `mailto:` in Opera or Chrome, after this setting had been lost, gave me an OS modal with the options to choose an application. => check out the screenshot :)
