[Affected versions]: Nightly 57.0a1 [Affected platforms]: Platforms: Windows 10 x 64, Mac OS X 10.12 and Ubuntu 16.04 x64. [Steps to reproduce]: 1. Launch Firefox. 2. Go to "about:preferences". 3. Verify the hover state of the search field. [Expected result]: The hover state of the search field border should be darker. [Actual result]: The hover state of the search field border appears the same as the normal state.

The Hani, Discussed with Helen (visual designer), the search input don't have the hover state. Helen will update the spec for it. Thank you for filing the bug.

I've checked the search bar in about: addons page and sidebars, and found that we don't have hover state for the search field. For the consistency, I will remove the hover state and update the spec accordingly.
