When viewing https://www2.gmu.edu/ or pages sharing the same theme/layout, rendering is so broken the site is unusable. It seems that the styles that are not inline are never being applied (or at least are not reflected when inspecting. CSS causing stylo to bail out before ever applying any styles perhaps?)

This is reliably dependent on layout.css.servo.enabled being true.

Tested on Firefox 56.0b5 (64 bit), Kubuntu 17.04 on multiple machines.
Seems to already be fixed on nightly (2017-08-24).

Reopened as it has made it through several beta releases without the apparent fix.

Thank you for your report!

* fine in Nightly 57 x64 20170914100122 de_DE @ Debian Testing (stylo)
* fine in Beta 56.0b11 x64 20170911193316 de_DE @ Debian Testing (without stylo)
* Confirmed, broken in Beta 56.0b11 x64 20170911193316 de_DE @ Debian Testing (with stylo enabled)

56 only got Stylo crash fixes in its Beta period (bug 1385831 comment 13). Please don't expect Stylo to work perfectly in the Stylo Beta 56 stability experiment. Stylo won't get enabled in Release 56.
In one week you can test a nearly perfect Stylo in Beta 57 (https://wiki.mozilla.org/RapidRelease/Calendar) where it should be enabled by default.
