I've several ideas for improving UX around password management, mostly just for my own benefit.  I realize that this might be considered a risky area, but a web extension API would be quite welcome.  The nsILoginManager API isn't perfect, but almost everything I would want are there (searches, add, update, and remove).  The only thing I might add is a hook notifying when the password manager did a form fill (so that it could be intercepted).
