We've received a number of performance complaints on webcompat.com for Whatsapp Web. On our high end hardware, we haven't reproduced but I wonder if this is something that could benefit from some qf analysis.
(The details are pretty fuzzy in these reports, it's possible this is a dupe of Bug 1376536.)

It seems that this issue is a duplicate of Bug 1376536. In comment bug 1376536 comment 2 is specified that the issue is reproducible since Firefox 53.0.
Considering this, I close this bug as a duplicate of bug 1376536.
