Steps to reproduce:

Having installed New Tab Tools addon. Suddenly just now this became a trigger


Actual results:

Every new tab contains moz-extension://913f32fd-e8ec-44c0-9624-604a10c14fea/newTab.xhtml in URLbar. There was no problem before.
I even cleaned firefox but after installing this addon that bug persists.


Expected results:

blank URL bar as before

Yes. I searched based on exact text in urlbar but it appears to be different for everybody. Hope it gets fixed before FF57 because I won't use WEB-extension only FF.

P.S. It is 2nd or 3rd time I have to revert to FF54 and backed up pre-55 profile. FF55 has too much incompatibilities with addons and some of them are no more supported like Quicksaver's Omniside bar.

Use the version 81 of https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/versions/ and set to no update with "More", it is non-WebExtension, should don't have this issue.
