Details

(Whiteboard: [fingerprinting-breakage])

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20170902100317 Steps to reproduce: - Change privacy.resist.fingerprinting in about:config to true in nightly - Install Tampermonkey from AMO (dev or release version) Alternatively - Install Tampermonkey on nightly, set up userscripts - Change privacy.resist.fingerprinting in about:config to true - Restart browser OR disable then enable Tampermonkey in options Actual results: The addon installs and displays a blank popup when the icon is clicked if privacy.resist.fingerprinting was true when it was enabled. If it was installed and the browser was restarted, all userscripts managed by it break and Tampermonkey displays a blank popup. Expected results: It should load without requiring disabling privacy.resist.fingerprinting
Please note, the addon works fine if you set privacy.resist.fingerprinting to true after it's been enabled. It will just fail to load the next time the browser is restarted.

I can't reproduce this in the latest nightly, could you check if you can please?

I don't use tampermonkey anymore but I just tested it for you on a new profile and I couldn't reproduce it in nightly 60 either.
