Tap the address bar Device: iPhone 7, iOS 10.3.3 Firefox: 8.2 Actual results: There is a noticeable delay 1–2 seconds between tapping the address bar and the UI responding. Expected results: The UI should respond near instantly to the address bar being tapped.

The attached video shows the delay in action. It's a little difficult to show when I'm tapping but in the video I scroll to the top of the page, then tap the address bar, then Cancel, then the address bar and repeat. Basically when there is nothing happing I'm waiting for a response to the tap.

This is a similar issue to slow startup. Because on both startup and tapping the url bar we show the home panel.

Thanks Farhan; clearing my n.i., agree we need to fix that hot path in the code for the HomePanel, and it should fix this.
