Device: 
 - Asus ZenPad 8(Android 6.0.1)
 - Huawei Honor (Android 5.1.1);


Prerequisites:
 - install Switchboard:Experiments and enable LeanPlum 

Steps to reproduce:
 1. After finishing setting up Fennec close it.
 2. Wait for Campaign C to trigger.

Expected result:
 After a 5 minute period, the user received PN1 (push notification 1) from campaign C.

Actual result:
 The user does not receive any kind of push notifications.

Notes: The push notification works only if the app is not killed.

Just to double confirm, in Step#1 you closed Fennec and repro this bug. And if you leave Fennec opened the push notification works? And this is the same for both devices?

Yes, if Fennec is open the push notifications are displayed and if the app is closed no push is received.

We may need the devices to test.
I know some brand / model has the ability to prevent push notification.

Some device/brand have "green mode" to block background service/notifications. This may be a device specific problem.

Confrimed with product manager. There's nothing we cand do for these specific decices so priority is low.

Given that this was triaged as a P3, I don't think we'll see this fixed in 57. Tagging 58 as affected.

Barbara, I don't think anything has been done to fix this (given the last time the various pushService files were updated) and I'd guess it's still an issue.

Tested on Huawei Honor and the device received the push notifications. Closing it as it works for me.
