User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20170905220108 Steps to reproduce: -Added a bookmark in the bookmarks bar -Created a folder in bookmarks bar through right-click > New Folder -Placed bookmark in newly created folder -Right-click > Delete on the bookmark in question Actual results: Bookmark simply highlighted (similar to when hovered with the mouse) Expected results: The bookmark should have been deleted

Do you have extensions.legacy.enabled set to true by chance?

Yes, I had set it to true to be able to use an old extension

does the bug reproduce if you temporarily disable those old extensions?

I disabled then re-enabled _extensions.legacy.enabled_ and the bookmarks seem to be working properly now... Weird
The use of that pref is discouraged, I understand the reasons one may use it, but unfortunately bugs will start piling up on it and we can't handle them.
