I'm not sure to what extent this might be responsible for some of the recent flakiness in Robocop tests, but - jwu mentioned in bug 1396324 that Robocop occasionally seemed to click the wrong menu item - I know from bug 1348086 that Robocop gets confused if multiple views with the same ID are present At least one (hopefully the only?) such case is R.id.menu, which is now used both for our main menu, as well as both the Activity Stream context menu and I think the small menu button present e.g. for Highlights entries.
I think Jing Wei is looking at this.
