Remove SearchBar by default in Nightly.
It difficult to search word. contain "." from Address Bar.
It is no problem from Search Bar.

Steps To Reproduce
1. type 2011.3.11 in Addressb bar and hit [Enter] key

Actual Results:
Server not found

Expected results:
Search "2011.3.11" with Google(default), i.e. Search results like "Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake"

The second option in the location bar is always to search in that case, so "some.string"+DOWN+ENTER would do the right thing.
The other solution is bug 1080682, but clearly it wouldn't work for things looking like IPs (your 2011 case is an edge case that may be fixed, but it won't solve the underlying problem).
Apart from down_arrow+enter that Marco suggested, there are also the one-off buttons to click for a search. I think this is a wontfix, but I'll keep it as P5 in case someone can come up with a smarter algorithm for autofill.
Priority: -- → P5

It works as expected on Chrome and Edge

Mass bug change to replace various 'parity' whiteboard flags with the new canonical keywords. (See bug 1443764 comment 13.)
