In bug 1094357 (desktop), it looks like they're implementing a glow under dark favicons.

Sorry, I'm not sure, but pinging in Photon channel to see if anyone knows.

To be clear Nevin, we just want to achieve the same visual effect as Desktop, but on Mobile. However we do that should be fine.

Update: Looks like those "glowing" designs didn't make the final cut.

For now, I'd say this is a known issue that we'll keep an eye on. We should look to address it together with the Desktop-side after 57.
