initial viewport too small for fullscreen Web
Apps with privacy .resist Fingerprinting enabled
WebApps are initially rendered too small, unless they have their display-mode set to "browser". Re-orientation of the device (portrait/landscape) fixes the issue. This happens with and without a meta (viewport) tag. It looks like window's dimensions (e.g. innerWidth/innerHeight) are affected, too.
Added the URL to a minimized WebApp as an online testcase. There are 3 files involved: - index.html - manifest.json - icon.png
In case it isn't easily reproducible, the tests were performed using a recent nightly build on a Samsung GT-i9100 (Galaxy S2) running LineageOS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2).
This is only an issue with privacy.resistFingerprinting enabled. Everything seems to work just fine when this pref is reset.
Summary: Initial viewBox is too small for WebApps with display-mode != "browser" → initial viewport too small for fullscreen WebApps with privacy.resistFingerprinting enabled
