Lately more and more docs are being translated to other languages. Whenever I now land on a MDN page that has been translated to Dutch, it automatically changes to Dutch. I, and most people, write code in English and thus prefer to read the English documentation.
Changing the language works, but the setting isn't saved. It would be great if you could save the language preference in e.g. local storage so we don't need to select a different language every time.

Thank you for the bug, which helps us know how many people are annoyed by this issue.
We're working on a partial solution in bug 1331729, which will make it less likely that you will be redirected to Dutch pages. You may also want to look into ways to adjust the "Accept-Language" header that you send to MDN and Google, to communicate that you prefer English.
