Details

When logged into Facebook, plugging in or plugging out headphones will cause the tab to crash.

I am running on a Mid 2015 Macbook Pro running MacOS 12.10.6 with Firefox Nightly 57.0a1 (2017-09-16). I can reproduce this bug reliably.

After
Summary: Tab crashes when headphones are plugged in or out on Facebook → Tab crashes when headphones are plugged in or out on videos (Youtube, Facebook)
I discovered that I couldn't consistently reproduce this issue on Facebook with a known broken version on the Facebook home screen. I noticed that it would only break if there was a video on the page. I then found it would also break Youtube.

My new procedure for reproducing this issue was the following:
1. Plug in headphones
2. Go to youtube
3. Click on the first (top left) video
4. Unplug headphones after page has loaded
