Details
The datepicker fires input events, incorrectly, in these cases: 1) tab or arrow key navigation within the fields of the picker, without any change to the values. 2) right click. In addition, right click brings up the calendar, which it should not.

I couldn't reproduce this either on Mac, Ubuntu nor Windows 10 with the latest Nightly (2017-09-18). And right click brings up the context menu for me. May I know what version are you using? (It seems that you've closed your NI requests)
The project is on 54 in linux, in xhtml and not web pages, and I will move it to 56 once that tag is in releases repo. If it works for you on nightly, that's good enough. I didn't see any issues like these in the meta bug blocking bugs and will followup if I reproduce them on later versions. Sorry for the noise.
