User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:56.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/56.0
Build ID: 20170918210324
Steps to reproduce:
Version: 57.0b1, Build ID: 20170917031738, OS: Windows_NT 6.1
When extensions.webextensions.remote=false
1. Install popup-focus-tester.zip
2. Click a toolbar button.
3. "DOMContentLoaded" fires and call document.getElementById("filter").focus();
4. Input (id="filter") will get focus.
When extensions.webextensions.remote=true
1. Install popup-focus-tester.zip
2. Click a toolbar button.
3. "DOMContentLoaded" fires and call document.getElementById("filter").focus();
3. Input (id="filter") will not get focus. If press Tab - popup will get focus, one more Tab - input will get focus
Actual results:
When extensions.webextensions.remote=true, input (and popup itself) will not get focus.
Expected results:
Input (id="filter") should get focus.
