RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1403563

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0
Build ID: 20170925150345

Steps to reproduce:

1- Have a lot of tabs open, for example 100, this is for observe the problem properly, in my case have 350+tabs ande believe me, this is very noticeable.

2- place te pointer over the tabs and try to scroll with the mouse whell from the first up to the last tab or viceversa.

Actual results:

On the FF 57 branch there is no acceleration for the scrolling process, so no matter how many consecutive mousewheel movements you do FF always move the same amount of tabs (aproximatelly 11 tabs), so, if for example in my case that i have more than 350 tabs i must do 30+ wheel movements do move across all the tabs.

NOTE: i've tested on a clean profile and the problem persist.

Expected results:

On previous FF branches the wheel have acceleration, not sure if is related to the speed i move the wheel or the amount of consecutive movements, but i can move across all the tabs in less than 10 movements.

NOTE: to be clear, a single movement displaces the same amount of tabs on all branches, the problem is only when i try to do a fast displacement.
