User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.13; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170824053838

Steps to reproduce:

Open Firefox. Navigate to any streaming video clip. I specifically tested stan.com.au (Australian video streaming site) & youtube.com and both sites replicated the issue. Select a video & play it. Click on the full-screen button on the video player.

Actual results:

The video expanded to fill most of the monitor, however, the video did not expand fully. There is a strip at the bottom, the height of the dock, which shows the desktop background. It is highly visible. I have attached a screenshot to demonstrate the issue. In the screenshot, I have selected a video clip from a streaming service, played it & clicked on the full-screen button. The video has expanded most of the way but left a strip exposed at the bottom showing the desktop.

Expected results:

Once the full-screen button is clicked on a video player, the video should expand to fill the entire monitor. Nothing else should be visible other than the clip currently playing and the video player controls, if you move the mouse, or the menu bar at the top if you hover the mouse near the top of the screen.
Thanks for filing. Dupe of existing Bug 1390125
