140370 - [RFE] Preferences Pane Memory

It's a simple little thing, but one of those little touches that makes a 
program seem polished.

I want the preferences dialog, when I reopen it, to return to the previous 
state it was when I closed it.  This makes turning on and features a lot 
simpler.

Of course, it might just be my platform: RC1/OSX.1.4.

That's on all platforms like this (changing setting). Could be interesting,
don't we have a dupe on this?
