Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup a news-server that only requires authentication when you post (not to
read newsgroups)
2. Try to post a message


Actual Results:  A message box is displayed: "A News (NNTP) error occurred:
Posting Failed (Authentication failed for user : 0!)"

Expected Results:  The message is posted

I don't know if post-authenticated news-servers are used a lot, but my ISP has
recently set this up so they are able to track (illegal) posts I guess; due to
restrictions, the news-server is used to distribute about everything ;-)

Changed the summary; I've checked a couple of other news-clients and they all
allow to configure the authentication for the news-server (user-id and
password); I cannot find this in Mozilla's news-config.
This bug is preventing me from posting with Mozilla which means I always have to
switch to another app to do this.

Nick - Pushed Authentication is actually implemented, just not through the UI -
see bug 94439 and the bug mentioned in the first comment of that bug.

According to the spec at http://www.mozilla.org/mailnews/specs/accounts/#News,
this wouldn't be in the Account Wizard itself, but bug 94439 is the place to
have discussion...most likely it would be in the Account Manager, under Advanced.
