Hi,

The profile dialog (-P) is not translated with debian build. This is also happening with the dialog displayed just after updating firefox

If I'm taking the official linux build, that dialog is translated.

Tried with French translation only

Laurent, if this is a Debian packaging specific bug, it should be managed on the BTS itself.
The thing is that in the official build the translations are AFAICS embedded

In the debian build, there is a separated .xpi file and I'm not sure that (the early components of) firefox have the mechanism to support "detached" translations like that
This can be summarized as "Firefox doesn't support langpacks to localize the profile selector".
(I think there's an old bug about this)
Euh, why WONTFIX?

The fact that the profile selector is not supporting translation seems to be a bug to me, isn't it?
Or am I confused and this has been marked WONTFIX for ff-57 only

I found it in graveyard Bug 383863 - Mozilla Firefox, thunderbird and sunbird Profile Manager is not translated
