Originally this was planned for 56.0b7, but this has been moved to 56.0.1. We don't have a definitive date for the 56.0.1 release, according to relman once we have stability data on 56 we will plan for this release. Bug 1393447 shows the steps we worked on for b7.
Also, the script Nick wrote to munge the release blob is useful. https://bug1393447.bmoattachments.org/attachment.cgi?id=8902074 In this bug the rules for 56.0.1 are specified as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1397339#c9 not show WNP for 64-bit upgrades (whether that is 56.0 --> 56.0.1 or something higher)
Kim, we started migrating 1% of 32-bit 56.0 users to 64-bit 56.0.1 yesterday. Do we still need this watershed bug for 56.01 or bug 1393447 for 56.0b7?

This rule is implemented in balrog as rule 659 on channel Firefox release so I will close this bug.
