Hi, I have a laptop using programable keys for my synaptics touchpad, and I have a problem that the keys that are set to scroll up and down simply do not work, and just beeps. The problem occurs in the RC1, but i have not tested it on previous releases. However I have tested on Netscape 6.22, which is probably a earlier release of the Mozilla engine. Which does work. So I was wondering why it doesn't work in RC1. Also I have a problem installing JAVA for RC1. For both 1.3.1 and 1.4.0, I can not tick the Netscape option in the JAVA console as it keeps on saying that it cannot configure the settings. Maybe, SUN should make their console more configurable, but thats not really the work for you guys. Because of that I can't use JAVA. Anyway, you've done a good job with Mozilla, and I can't wait for version 1 to be released. As i'm getting sick of IE. PS: I love the option "Open unrestrictive windows". Which prevent those nasty pop-up windows.
Reporter: Please file on bug / problem in the future Java: Have you read the Mozilla release notes about Java ? Install the JRE (1.4) and copy the plugin (npoji610.dll) to mozilla's plugin folder. The keys: Are they scrolling like a scrollwheel or do they use page up/down ?
if it works like a scrollwhell -> bug 20618
-> wfm no response
