Uh, what does "crashes" mean here? Can you provide a test page? Is this really 10.12 and not 10.13, which would make this a dupe of bug 1406358 ?

So I might have been wrong, it crashes on every second paragraph, so advancing might not be required at all.

This could be a duplicate of bug 1406358.  I also seem to remember this happening before I update to Mac OS 10.13, but I'm not sure.

Talked to Bryan, and he's on 10.13 now, and I can't repro on 10.12 with the same pages on either 57 or 58, and the video matches the complaints in bug 1406358, so gonna dupe there so we can track this as a 10.13 compat issue. If there's concrete info this is busted on 10.12 too, we can reopen and investigate separately. :-)
