Details

In bug 1348087 we're replacing the incremental downloader in the app update client, in favor of just a normal file download procedure. This means the backgroundInterval property will no longer be honored and support for it can be removed when that bug lands (hopefully for 58).
I'm a student at Seneca college learning open source, and I was hoping to work on this bug for my course. If no one else is currently working on it, I'd like to give it a try.
