i've checked the preferences, but in the latest 0.9.9+ builds, the url list box
doesn't show up anymore when typing in a url.  The 1.0.0 builds still have this,
but 0.9.9+ doesn't.  btw, the 0.9.9+ builds are much better than the 1.0.0 pre1
builds.
This is being fixed in bug 120155 (the original fix to that bug caused this).
