Expected results: The link should have opened, or the tab should have closed.
(In reply to Kohei Yoshino [:kohei] from comment #1) > Please troubleshoot with Safe Mode: > https://support.mozilla.org/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode Clicked 'home page' icon in address bar, menu appeared. Clicked to 'reply' to your post, menu appeared. Also checking if possibly mouse issue (it's < 6 months old, but you never know), but won't get new one till later today. dL
Can you explicitly confirm that you can reproduce in safe mode (with add-ons disabled)? Also, did you get a chance to test with a different pointing device?

What I sent on Wednesday (18) was definitely using safe mode. Sorry to take so long, non-computer stuff intervened. Between part of that stuff I picked up a new M100 (same make as the previous unit), but could not replicate any of the issues. Deciding the situation was a mouse fault, not in FF. dL

Thank you, a faulty mouse certainly seems like the culprit here.
