User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64; rv:57.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/57.0 Build ID: 20171013042429 Steps to reproduce: From https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/76n7l9/cant_watch_embedded_dailymotion_videos_it_works/ tried to watch the video located at http://www.ozap.com/actu/-on-n-est-pas-couche-accrochage-entre-christine-angot-et-francois-de-rugy/539362 Video would not play. Even with 3rd party cookies set to from visited after visiting dailymotion.com directly, I had to allow dailymotion.com as an "Always" cookie exception. Actual results: Video would not play, black player screen. Expected results: Video should have played with 3rd-party cookies set to from visited as I understand how this is supposed to work.

Preemptively assigning to Amy, our cookie expert. Amy, can you look into this? Do you think we should track this for 57? Thanks!

I've attached the log with 3rd-Party Cookies set to From Visited after I went to Dailymotion.com first. I also made one with 3rd-Party cookies set to always if needed.

Hi Mark, Could you confirm the setting of third-party cookie follow the steps as below: 1. Enter about:preferences#privacy to URL bar. 2. Choose Firefox will Use custom setting for history from History item. 3. Confirm the value is "Always" from the field whose name is "Accept third-party cookie". 4. Try to play the video from Dailymotion.com. Thanks!

Like I said before, works fine if 3rd-party cookies are set always; however, I thought it should work it set to from visited after going to dailymotion.com.

Hi Mark, I have used "Visited" from "Accept third-party cookies", and tried to play video from http://www.dailymotion.com/embed/video/x64nguz?autoPlay=1:73:31. I still can use Firefox 57 to play video. Beside that, I can reproduce the behavior as below: 1. Used "Visited" from "Accept third-party cookies". 2. Can't set third-party cookies. I will confirm this problem, thanks for your report.

Hi Mark, I found the reason of third-party cookies can't set as below: 1. www.dailymotion.com doesn't set any cookies. 2. The above result occurs the third-party cookies can't set on Firefox. 3. This behavior is same as Safari. Base on above reasons, I would set wontfix on this bug. Thanks!
