Original from https://webcompat.com/issues/12809
1. Go to http://www.dtmts.com/
2. Click on Game to open player.
3. Video starts playing on Edge. Not so on Firefox. Firefox just shows a black screen with no player controls and does not load video.

From the latest user feedback:
But when I go to settings and disable 3rd party cookies it stops working again. The ad before the video plays but the video does not load which is weird, because I block 3rd party cookies in Edge as well and the video works fine there. So this seems to be a firefox issue to me and not a problem with addons.
To be clear. I did not change any other setting in the clean firefox profile besides the 3rd party cookie setting.

@Amy can you take a look at this bug? You should be able to reproduce this bug with @erictasi's help.

Amy tells me that Chrome is exhibiting the same behavior as Firefox here. And also "I found the Edge still saved some third-party cookie when disable third-party cookie."
Amy--what kind of 3rd party cookies is Edge keeping even when "disable 3rd party cookies" is on? What domains, etc.?

Dan, do you know who at Mozilla is most on top of 3rd party cookie policy issues? Our behavior here is different than Edge but apparently the same as Chrome, so I'm not sure we've got a bug or not.

(In reply to Jason Duell [:jduell] (needinfo me) from comment #4)

Me? Tanvi? I don't think this is cookie-related though. In the console I'm seeing an error message that indicates a NS_ERROR_DOM_SECURITY_ERR was thrown. That's usually some kind of same-origin-policy violation, but there are two many to guess which (and the site script is minimized so "line 37" doesn't really narrow down what it was doing).
